About Copper Beech Group

Copper Beech Group is a development platform focused on high-impact energy and infrastructure projects, connecting institutional capital, best-in-class technology providers and local execution capabilities.

Who we are

Copper Beech Group was founded by entrepreneur and investor Dinesh Dhamija. The platform builds on decades of experience in scaling businesses, delivering real estate developments and investing in infrastructure and energy projects across Europe.

Our focus is on identifying and structuring bankable projects that sit at the intersection of energy, urban development and digital infrastructure. We work with institutional investors, utilities, IPPs, technology OEMs and local partners to turn early-stage opportunities into fully de-risked, ready-to-build assets.

Copper Beech Group operates as an agile development platform: lean by design, but deeply connected with specialised partners along the whole value chain, from land aquisition and grid permitting to construction, financing and operations.

What we do

  • Origination and development of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects
  • Hybridisation of renewable assets with storage and flexible generation
  • Integrated solutions for data centers, industrial clients and microgrids
  • Urban regeneration projects with embedded clean energy infrastructure

We cover the full development cycle: site and grid scouting, permitting, commercial modelling, technical design oversight and support up to RTB (Ready-to-Build) and beyond, including sale, co-development or long-term asset management structures.

Our development platform

Copper Beech Group is built around a few clear principles that guide the way we select, structure and deliver projects. These principles ensure alignment between investors, technology partners and local stakeholders.

Bankability & discipline

We prioritise projects that can withstand rigorous technical and financial due diligence from institutional investors and lenders, with clear risk allocation and robust contractual frameworks.

Partnership-driven

We work hand-in-hand with utilities, IPPs, EPCs and OEMs. Our role is to align interests, connect capabilities and create structures where each party can focus on what they do best.

Impact & decarbonisation

Beyond megawatts and returns, we measure success in terms of avoided emissions, resilience of local grids, quality of jobs created and the contribution to wider regional development.

Where we operate

Our core geography today is Romania, where we are building a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects, as well as hybrid and microgrid concepts connected to digital infrastructure and tourism assets.

Romania combines strong solar resources, a strategic location within the European power system and a supportive regulatory framework, making it an ideal hub for cross-border investment in clean energy and flexible assets.

Over time, Copper Beech Gruup plans to replicate and adapt its development model in other high-potential markets across Central and Eastern Europe and selected locations in Southern Europe and MENA.

How we work with partners

Depending on the specific project, we can act as lead developer, co-developer or originator for institutional investors. We are comfortable working under exclusivity frameworks, development service agreements or joint ventures, always with a clear, transparent alignment of interests.

For technology providers and EPCs, we offer a structured pipeline of well-prepared projects, with a realistic route to financing and execution. For investors, we provide curated opportunities with clear documentation, standardised data rooms and experienced support throughout due diligence.
