Bucșani Solar & BESS reaches Ready-to-Build stage
The 270 MWp solar PV + 220 MW / 440 MWh hybrid project enters the final phase ahead of construction and Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Project milestone achieved
Copper Beech Urban has successfully achieved Ready-to-Build (RTB) status for the Bucșani Solar & BESS project, confirming that all key development activities have been completed and the asset is now ready to progress into execution.
The project combines 270 MWp of utility-scale solar PV with a 220 MW / 440 MWh battery energy storage system, designed as a fully integrated hybrid asset connected to the Romanian transmission network.
What RTB confirms
- Land secured and consolidated
- Grid connection approvals and studies finalized
- Environmental and construction permits in place
- Engineering and technical layout frozen

Next steps toward construction
Following RTB, the project enters the final preparation phase toward Notice to Proceed (NTP), including EPC finalization, procurement of long-lead equipment and financial close.
